DENCRAFT - Dental Laboratory of the Year
It was Dencraft?s approach to training and education, not only of themselves but of dental team members too, that won over the judges. The on-site facilities for training and conferences allow practices and study groups in the area to have training without travelling too far, and has also allowed the team at Dencraft to present talks on various topics including digital photography and crown preparation. The teamwork Dencraft showed as well as its patient-centred approach was also a feature in its choice as winner. Staff at the laboratory is supported through training and e-learning has been introduced to encourage the team to have online training every week. Patients are also welcome to visit the laboratory and talk through what they want. Feedback questionnaires are regularly sent out to allow the team to constantly improve its service.
